Tae Kwon Do International - World Championships at Barclaycard Arena

What an amazing weekend we are so proud of all our competitors and officials. We are blown away with the results 13 WORLD MEDALS. 3720 entries from around the World and you came home with this little lot.

4 Gold... 4 Silver & 5 Bronze Medals
We never really like  to highlight any individual but in this case we will make an exception, as Kieran Fowler bought home TWO GOLDS 1 in individuals & 1 in team sparring, Nikki Francis has worked so hard & come so close at the last few competitions & bought home the silver, then mum of two, Tracey Mayhead`s first ever major competition, fought with a cracked rib & came away with Bronze.
Win or lose you are all winners in our eyes & will treasure the memories made on that day for life.

To Tom Kendrick who was Coach for the day, the feedback we got from competitors and parents was nothing but praise, tom gave up his chance to compete to stand in for us and coach, however he has now been bitten again by the 'TKD Bug' and will hopefully be competing himself in the next Worlds.
