On Saturday, at the British Championships in London, Annabel Murcott became the youngest among the Taekwondo Association of Great Britain (TAGB) to be promoted as a grand master. |
Annabel Murcott has become the highest ranked female within Britain's largest Tae Kwon-Do AssociationA martial arts instructor from Stamford has become the highest ranked female within Britain's largest Tae Kwon-Do Association.
She is the first female to receive this award within the Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain and was thrilled to receive the outstanding award. |
Annabel Murcott's Schools of Tae Kwon-Do compete at the World ChampionshipStamford, Deeping and Bourne students from the seventh dan world master Annabel Murcott's Schools of Tae Kwon-Do took part in one of the largest martial arts championships.
From more than 30 students, Murcott's club brought back no less than 15 medals including two new world champions. |

Starting on the 25th May 2020 members had daily access to live online seminars. Members were able to attend 1 or all 7 of the Online Seminars. |

Many students were using the Midlands Championships as a warm-up competition for the English Championships. They were held at the Worcester Arena, with over 1,500 competitors of the highest level taking part. |
Kieran strikes gold as Tae Kwon Do students shine in CroatiaStudents at the Annabel Murcott Schools of Tae Kwon Do returned with a staggering medal haul from the European Championships in Croatia.
As well as the 16-strong trophy haul, they also had a double European champion and best fighter on the day among their ranks. |

Mum Adele won gold in sparring, dad Lewis took silver in sparring and bronze in team sparring while son Louis brought home bronze in sparring. |

Tae Kwon Do instructor becomes first female 7th DanAnnabel has gone down in TAGB history as the first female to reach World Master level as well as the youngest. This is made all the more special as the TAGB does not allow double grades or fast tracking through the grading system, therefore it is a minimum training time of 31 years that is if you pass every grading on time.
Murcott Said: “This has been an amazing end to the year, winning a World Championship Medal is an amazing feeling, but to be honoured like this by the whole TAGB committee and people I look up to, is truly humbling. |
