Earlier this month Annabel Murcott flew the flag for her local club Annabel Murcott Schools of Tae Kwon Do and the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain at the Pride in Peterborough Awards. As a club we are very proud of our instructor, Annabel gives everything to her students and Tae Kwon Do. Her dedication is immeasurable, she wasn't keen on attending the awards for fear of her students missing out on training sessions! This was because of her dedication to her students in preparing them for an up and coming grading that took place last weekend. Annabel attended the Awards Ceremony and evening dinner on Tuesday 7th December 2021. Of the 13 categories Annabel was 'Highly Commended' in 4 categories:
Pride of Peterborough Awards
Aside Annbel's dedication, we genuinely can’t thank our instructors, students and parent enough for your support throughout this past year, we are amazed sometimes by the offers of help and encouragement and it really means a lot to us. We will never stop reminding you all that our success, is purely down to the support from students, parents and the best team of dedicated Black Belts we could ask for. It was just the boost we needed to get back to the competition circuit to end the year, the Arnold Schwarzenegger event at the NEC put the TAGB back on the map and highlighted what an outstanding dedicated organisation they are. To end the year with the British Championships, with a staggering 1200 plus competitors, truly showed just how dedicated both Instructors and students are. We will be working hard next year to make sure, wherever possible in the uncertain covid times ahead, we attend all the competitions we can and dedicate our time to all those going for their Black Belts in April and October. Here is to an even more amazing 2022!
